Defence Housing Authority – ACT, NSW and Victoria
AMC has undertaken a number of DHA’s more significant projects in recent years in the ACT, NSW and Victoria including the Clarence Jefferies Estate in Adamstown, RMC Duntroon Redevelopment in Canberra, Puckapunyal in Victoria and Dawes Estate and HMAS Harman in Queanbeyan, amongst others totalling more than 200 dwellings at a total cost of more than $70m. AMC were involved in initial feasibility analysis, masterplanning of these subdivisions and the development of an extensive portfolio of detached dwellings and townhouses. AMC played a significant role with PWC Approval with some of these projects and in the development of DHA Classification criteria. Dwelling designs needed to meet strict energy targets and defence requirements while being attractive to the investor market.
