COMMERCIAL FITOUT

Pattersons Securities, Barton

AMC Projects were commissioned to design the newly formed Canberra branch of the stockbroking firm Pattersons in 2004. The new 315m² fitout was located in Barton in a building that benefited from spectacular views to Parliament House and large open terrace areas, but which suffered from an internal services core arrangement which tended to limit fitout options. The design concept incorporated an attractive reception area which makes use of the lift foyer to give a more spacious feel, a large kitchen area suitable for self catered functions while not taking up valuable floor space and generous meeting rooms / break out areas which included a main conference room with operable wall. Bold colours, timber murals and artwork create a sophisticated and impressive office environment.
