COMMERCIAL FITOUT
ACCC, Acton
ACCC initially approached AMC Projects in February 2006, to assess potential accommodation options and then subsequently to design and document their new fitout at - 23 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra City.
The new 5,000m2 + fitout was located over five floors in the first building in the New Acton precinct, and included sweeping views over both the city and Lake Burley Griffin.
The fitout was designed to achieve a logical arrangement of core offices and perimeter open plan workstations, with a highly efficient circulation system. The palette of colours was neutral, yet sophisticated and has since been adopted in ACCC’s Melbourne and Adelaide offices.
AMC worked to a very tight time-frame for the design and documentation, to ensure that firstly the ACCC were able to vacate their existing building before the expiration of the lease, and secondly to ensure that the fitout documentation was issued to the base building contractor in sufficient time to allow the seemless integration of the fitout into the construction program.
