Building The Education Revolution
As part of the 2009 $42 billion Nation Building and Jobs Plan, the Commonwealth Government has committed $14.7 billion to provide new facilities and refurbishments in Australian schools over the next three years under the banner ‘Building the Education Revolution’ (BER). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) has identified 23 ACT and 24 surrounding NSW schools to partake in the ‘Primary Schools for the 21st Century’ element and AMC Projects have been commissioned for the following schools and associated projects:
- St Peter and Paul, Garran ACT – New and refurbished classrooms
- Holy Family, Gowrie ACT – New classrooms and refurbished library
- Sacred Heart, Pearce ACT – New multi-purpose hall and refurbished library
- St Joseph’s, Boorowa NSW – New library and refurbished classrooms
- Sacred Heart, Cootamundra NSW – New administration and library building and refurbished classrooms
- Trinity School, Murrumburrah NSW – Refurbished / extended administration and library, covered basketball/netball courts and refurbished classrooms
