Hellenic Club of Canberra – Auditorium Refurbishment and Fitout, Woden

AMC were engaged by the Hellenic Club of Canberra to provide architectural and interior design services for the refurbishment of the existing auditorium, and the fitout of the newly constructed building extension. The works included the complete refurbishment of the existing auditorium, fitout of the new function room, the provision of a new commercial kitchen capable of servicing separate functions in each of the rooms at the same time, provision of substantial store rooms and services areas, and mezzanine level administration space. Through a complete redesign of the existing ceiling, new floor finishes, and timber veneer and glass wall panelling, AMC have created a stunning auditorium that is one of the largest and most flexible of its kind in Canberra. The project won the 2004 MBA Awards for refurbishments over $3m.
